The Red Thread

A graphic narrative speaking on the topic of intergenerational trauma - a concept that explains the passing down of generational challenges or traumatic experiences within a family. Intergenerational trauma is not easily pinpointed and often manifests in undefined and subtle ways. The goal of this graphic narrative is to inspire conversation and foster awareness about intergenerational trauma through the use of visual metaphor (the red thread) to shed light on some of my own experiences with trauma, and the lessons I’ve learned from it.
